Sized so a chew lasts more than a minute
The usual problem with big dogs is not appetite, it is duration: a treat sized for a spaniel is gone before it registers. The Serious Chewer is built around treats with enough substance to occupy a large jaw, which is what makes them useful for settling a dog rather than just feeding one.

Large breeds are no less prone to sensitivities than small ones. Tell us what to avoid when you join and we exclude it, and check the ingredient and allergen card in each box before feeding anything new.

Are these treats safe for aggressive chewers?
The treats are chosen to last longer than a standard biscuit, but no edible chew is indestructible. Supervise your dog with any chew, take it away once it is small enough to swallow whole, and always keep fresh water available.
Is eight treats a month enough for a large dog?
Eight longer-lasting treats works out at around two a week, plus a training bag for everyday practice. Treats should sit alongside a balanced diet rather than replace part of it, so more is not automatically better.
I have two large dogs. Which package should I pick?
