This notice explains how Treat Sub handles the information you submit through this website when requesting or running a membership.

Information we collect

When you request a box, we collect the details you provide: the package you chose, your name, email address, your dog’s name and size, your delivery postcode, and any dietary notes or questions.

If you create an account, we also hold your email address, your password in encrypted form, the membership package you chose and the dog details you added, along with the date you joined, your payment status and, if you cancel, the date you cancelled.

How we use it

We use these details to confirm your membership, arrange and deliver your boxes, exclude ingredients you have told us to avoid, respond to questions and improve the service. Marketing emails are only sent if you opt in, and you can stop them at any time. This form does not collect card or bank details.

Account details are used to sign you in, show your membership and payment status and let you change package, update your card or cancel.

Payment information

Card payments are taken by Stripe Payments UK Ltd, our payment processor. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own secure checkout, not on this website, and Treat Sub never sees or stores them. Stripe is sent your name, email address and billing and delivery addresses so it can take payment and issue receipts, and it processes that information as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. We keep a reference to your Stripe customer and subscription, the package you pay for, your payment status and the date of your next payment, so that your account page and our records stay accurate.

How it is stored

Form submissions are processed through Netlify Forms. Accounts are handled by Netlify Identity and membership records are stored in a Netlify-hosted database. Payments and card details are held by Stripe. Access should be limited to people who need the information to operate Treat Sub. Information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described here or to meet legal requirements, including the records Stripe and we must keep for tax and accounting.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing messages using the link in any email. You can change package or cancel your membership at any time from your account page. You may also ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you can object to how we use it, by using the form on the home page. Deleting your details will end an active membership.

Cookies

This website does not intentionally use advertising cookies. Hosting providers may process essential technical information needed to deliver and protect the site.

Changes

This notice may be updated as the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
